Oil painter, Lindsay Hawfield Jones, has studied modern landscape and abstract painting at The Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria VA, The Carlton Gallery in Banner Elk NC and, most recently, at Braitman Studios in Charlotte NC. Lindsay minored in Studio Art at Wake Forest University and participated in an independent art study at Casa Artom in Venice, Italy. She is currently a member of Studio 117, a local art studio, workshop and gallery based in Charlotte, NC. In addition to the Studio 117 Gallery, Lindsay also has paintings available for sale at Meredith Jackson Jewelry Boutique and Chosen Apparel & Fine Art.
Lindsay has exhibited at a variety of venues including McColl Center for Art & Innovation, The Art Salon, and BOCO Gallery, and donated paintings to nonprofit art auctions; read more about Lindsay’s community involvement here. She is also a current Artist Advocate and volunteer, and past board member of Arts For Life, a nonprofit organization providing children art education in hospital settings. Lindsay welcomes commissions and the opportunity to work with clients on specific paintings for gifts, corporate spaces and residences.
