As an artist and art advocate, I believe in the power of creativity to restore dignity, hope and optimism, and to establish connections between people and communities. I’ve enjoyed sharing my love of the arts through nonprofit organizations in the Charlotte community and have volunteered my time in a variety of capacities.
Most recently, I launched “Art Share” in 2019, a program that provides commissioned works of art for nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity Charlotte homeowners and Roof Above (Urban Ministry Center) housing facilities. I’m also a past board member and in-hospital volunteer for Arts For Life, a nonprofit organization providing children with art education in health care settings.
I am committed to giving back to others in need through my art work and regularly donate paintings to nonprofit art auctions and events, and commit a portion of art sales to support a variety of causes, including those listed below.
